Tama Goren (b. 1978) is a self-taught artist who has been exhibiting since 2011. Her style is expressive, dark, and tragicomic, drawing inspiration from folklore, fairy tales, and historical illustrations.


Goren works with watercolors on paper, oil on canvas, embroidery, and paper cutting, incorporating 3D techniques such as "peep-show" boxes, concertina books, and figurines. Her notable recent projects include the solo exhibition "Dead Long Ago" (2021) at HaMidrasha Gallery, a duo exhibition with Avner Ben-Gal (2022) at Maya Gallery, and the solo exhibition "David Paints Children" (2024) at Chelouche Gallery.
