Binyamin Gallery builds its exhibition schedule through periodic open calls published in the media and on the gallery's website. In addition, it is still possible to submit unique proposals for events and group-themed exhibitions even when no open call exists. If the proposal fits the spirit of the gallery and its schedule - the possibility of placement will be examined. Appeals on gallery decisions will not be considered. Proposals for a solo exhibition will not be accepted.

Benjamin Gallery is a cooperative gallery and non-profit association funded by its members. Artists participating in exhibitions join the gallery for this time as temporary members.

Proposals will be submitted to the email address binyamin.artgallery@gmail.com, with the subject line "Proposal for the exhibition + Name of the exhibition." If you have not received confirmation from the gallery about acceptance of the proposal within two weeks, please contact the gallery. It is recommended to visit the gallery and website before submitting the proposal.

The proposal needs to include:

A single PDF document up to 15 MB, which consists of the following information:

  1. A clear and concise description of the project, up to 500 words.

  2. A concise description of the events that will take place in the gallery during the exhibition (gallery talk, performance, lecture, or anything else), up to 100 words.

  3. Relevant images and initial placement are suggested, including full details for each work (name, medium, size, year, whether the work is new or previously exhibited). The gallery plan is attached below.

  4. A brief biography for each artist.

  5. Curator's CV - including a detailed list of exhibitions.

  6. A portfolio of a maximum of 10 images from previous works for each artist, including full details for each work (name, medium, size, year, where it was exhibited).

A WORD document with full contact details (phone and email) and links to the websites and Instagram accounts of all the participants in the exhibition, including the curator.

Please indicate in the submission whether the exhibition is ready for display immediately or needs the minimum time to mature. Please note that the gallery does not allow an exhibition in which one of the exhibiting artists is also the curator of the exhibition.

We wish you success!
