Shlomit Liver turns the exhibition space into an aquatic environment, where the human body floats and comes apart. The exhibition presents large-scale drawings, made with markers on vinyl stickers, in a site-specific installation — a working method that leaves Liver in a state of uncertainty until the very last moment.

Inspired by the caryatids of the Acropolis in Athens, Liver repeats a female figure, replacing the classical ideal body with a vulnerable human body whose contours blur. The water allows the emotional burden to dissolve, and the body to shed its excess weight. Her intensive actions embody physical and mental strain that moves from the personal to the collective, within a disintegrating reality in which, even when the entire structure seems to be collapsing, the body still holds.
