ABOUT
אודות
Much has been said about the herd mentality and the growing brutality of Israeli society—and of the world at large. Against the backdrop of these social and political processes, both locally and globally, this exhibition seeks to shine a light on and explore the phenomenon of the “herd.”
The works on display raise questions about uniformity, imitation, and the loss of individuality at various stages of life. Many of them aim to expose the violent and destructive potential of the collective, reflecting the artists’ perspectives on the social realities in which we live.
The participating artists approach the theme from diverse angles and through a variety of artistic media—painting, photography, video, and installation.
