ABOUT

אודות

In his solo exhibition, Doron Fishbein continues to observe Israeli reality and examines it through the story of the biblical flood. Using a variety of techniques, he presents symbols and images from his own mythology and creates a universe full of threats, fears and sexual perversions. In the artist's eyes, the world we live in is not cleansed of sin and is dark, dense and nightmarish. "We are still in the time of the flood," Fishbein argues, "the flood is not yet over. The dove has not yet been sent on its mission and the olive branch is not yet in its mouth..."
