Life in our era is characterized by excess. Information, objects, populations, experiences, and more coexist, competing for limited space and time. We live in crowded conditions, compress data, crush waste, and struggle to fit more into our schedules. The pressure under which we exist has consequences—both physical, shaping the world around us, and psychological, deeply affecting the human mind.

The works in this exhibition explore, through various means, the effects and implications of exerting pressure—both in a physical sense and, more significantly, as a continuous existential state of consciousness.
