The Castle Doctrine invites the visitors to enter a living space created by the
blending of the four artists’ works. These works, placed in an imaginary domestic environment, expose the souls of their creators in response to private or national events. The images are inspired by news broadcasts, internet live streaming and by personal moments observed in the public sphere, symbols of the present time and spirit.
The four painters will exhibit new digital works. Noam Wenkert will show an installation of digital drawings created by direct observation, displayed on mobile phones. Ayala Netzer will display prints of various sizes that deal with love, passion, pain and anger.
Shahar Sarig will display prints that deal with the bourgeois fantasies that expose excess, faux pastoral life and the futile search for serenity. Dan Alon will show a living-room like installation for a single user, in which he will display digital drawings and a sound work in the form of a personal news broadcast.
