The repetition of a theme, a story in a certain sequence, or an action — with differences that are sometimes barely noticeable — in a serial and ritualistic manner, again and again, lies at the heart of the exhibition Repeat and Repeat. In addition to narrative repetition, the exhibition also presents repetition through abstraction, form, and rhythm — in other words, within a purely formalist context.
