In a kind of reversal of the usual group exhibition, where proximity creates a unified thesis, artists Noa Ben-Nun Melamed, Iris Hassid, Nurit Yarden, and France Lebee-Nadav have created four mini-exhibitions, each on a separate wall, almost retrospective in nature.

The work on the exhibition Quartet, the result of a dialogue between the artists who curated it collaboratively, began with the idea of examining the prominent motifs each artist has used throughout her career and from them creating a personal lexicon of images. The shared process of exploration, while maintaining each artist’s autonomy, led to unexpected connections between the walls, between the images, and between the visible and hidden narratives.

The exhibition will feature works in a variety of techniques: direct photography, scanning, processed photography, and still-video.
