The Flying Camel exhibit, displaying at Binyamin gallery, is a continuation of the cultural activity of the Middle Eastern art biennial, which was initiated and curetted by Belu-Simion Fainaru in 2010, at the city of Haifa, and displayed in containers at the port of Haifa. The exhibit refers to questions of identity, place, time and individuality and raise's up the discussion on the position of the local culture in an era of global culture. The 2nd Middle Eastern art biennial that will take place in 2012 in the city of Sakhnin, will also relate to the local developments forming in the region and their cultural influences.
