ABOUT

The trilogy, whose name is derived from the letters A, B, and C — marking the division of territories in the Oslo Accords — presents a polyphony of political and cultural perspectives in Israel, from both the right and the left, across the political spectrum. How does the political conflict leave its imprint on the landscape? How does it affect Israeli society? How is it represented by the different political sides? What is hidden, what is visible, and who sees what?
The exhibition C, concluding the trilogy "ABC – Landscape in Three Parts," addresses issues of construction and destruction in the territories and in Jerusalem. Nine artists, representing a broad political range, seek alternative solutions to the conflict. The political deadlock leads them into realms of fantasy, escapism, humor, and irony.
