The exhibition "Abroad" took shape in response to the events of this past summer, during which Israel found itself under an aerial “lockdown.” The exhibition seeks to explore Abroad as an escapist and fantastical concept, in contrast to the grounded and the everyday.

For this exhibition, the curators gathered a group of artists whose works respond to this idea. The participating artists offer a wide range of interpretations—some works deal with longing and nostalgia, others with anxiety and nightmares, excess and obsession, clichés and banality.
