Marina Kotlyar is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv, working in printmaking, painting, and drawing in mixed media. Her practice explores processes of deconstructing and reassembling images, using reduction and abstraction to open space for an emotional experience and personal interpretation by the viewer. Kotlyar combines diverse printmaking techniques with painting, collage, and additional materials, constructing surfaces where traces of action, erasure, and accumulated layers form a rich visual language.

Marina is a graduate of the Visual Communication Department at Avni Institute and studied architecture at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Israel and internationally, and in 2024 took part in the KuBa Residency program in Germany.
